Day 1: Windhoek (1 night)
Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival, meet your SGN representative and proceed to the car rental company offices in Windhoek to complete all rental procedures. You'll receive your travel documents and a travel pack filled with useful information, directions, and a map.
When you're there: After a long-haul flight, take the rest of the day to relax and recover. In the evening, head into town where you'll find numerous excellent restaurants offering local cuisine. You can ask the hotel reception for recommendations or make a reservation if you plan to dine on-site.

Day 2: Kalahari (1 night)
Enjoy breakfast and embark on a leisurely drive on tarred roads to reach the red dunes of the Kalahari.
On the way: The drive takes about 3 to 4 hours, so consider stopping in Windhoek for some shopping before departure. Make sure to stock up on snacks and drinks for the road.
When you're there: Your lodge offers scenic drives, game viewing activities, nature trails, and spectacular sunsets, perfect for enjoying a gin and tonic. Don't miss the Bushman walk.

Day 3: Fish River Canyon (1 night)
Today, drive 500km south on paved and gravel roads to reach the Fish River Canyon, one of the world's major canyons, measuring 160km long, 27km wide, and 550m deep.
On the way: Visit the extinct volcanic crater, Brukkaros, and the Quivertree Forest. Make a short detour to see Giant's Playground, known for its unique rock formations.
When you're there: Enjoy guided excursions to the Fish River Canyon, scenic flights over the canyon, hiking trails, horse trails, scenic drives, game viewing, and unforgettable sundowners.

Day 4 & 5: Luderitz (2 nights)
Drive to Aus, a journey that takes you from the Kalahari to the coast. From there, continue west to the small mining town of Luderitz.
On the way: Stop at the northern viewpoint for an excellent early-morning picture of the canyon and observe the transition from the Kalahari to the Namib Desert.
When you're there: Explore Luderitz and its surroundings, including Kolmanskop ghost town, Diaz Point, boat trips to Halifax Island, Bogenfels rock arch, bird watching, coastal tours, and historical tours.

Day 6 & 7: Sossusvlei (2 nights)
Enjoy a scenic drive from the Namib-Naukluft Park to Sossusvlei, with impressive mountain ranges on your right and the park on your left.
On the way: Observe armchair-sized sociable weavers' nests and desert-adapted wildlife like gemsbok, springbok, and wild ostrich. Consider a detour to see Duiwseb Castle near Maltahöhe.
When you're there: Explore Sossusvlei at sunrise, visit Dead Vlei, Dune 45, Elim Dune, and Sesriem Canyon. Climb the dunes for stunning vistas and enjoy the ancient desert landscapes.

Day 8 & 9: Swakopmund (2 nights)
Drive north to Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, passing through scenic passes and the breathtaking Gaub Pass.
On the way: Consider a stop in Solitaire, about 80km from Sesriem, for snacks, cold drinks, and fuel. Keep an eye out for oryx, springbok, ostriches, and the endemic Hartmann's mountain zebra. You can also detour to see the world's oldest plants, the giant welwitschias.
When you're there: Swakopmund is an adventure hub with activities like scenic flights, kayaking, quad biking, and visits to Sandwich Harbour. Explore as many options as you can, and extend your stay if you wish.

Day 10: Damaraland (1 night)
Leave the cool coast and head inland to Damaraland, known for its rugged landscapes, rocky outcrops, and desert-adapted wildlife like elephants.
On the way: Drive along the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross to see the world's largest breeding cape fur seal colony. You can also take a coastal route to visit shipwrecks and enjoy the scenic drive.
When you're there: Enjoy nature drives to spot desert-adapted elephants in the riverbeds. Explore the Twyfelfontein area, including the Twyfelfontein rock paintings, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes, and the Living Damara Museum.

Day 11: Kaokoland (1 night)
Today, you'll head further north to Opuwo, an overnight stop en route to Epupa Falls.
When you're there: Spend your time relaxing by the pool or take an excursion to visit a nearby Himba village, best done in the late afternoon or early morning when routine activities take place.

Day 12 & 13: Kaokoland (2 nights)
Travel to the northern border of Namibia, specifically to Epupa Falls, a lush riverine area along the Kunene River.
When you're there: Meet Himba villagers, explore their villages, take scenic drives through Kaokoland, go hiking, birdwatching, and enjoy game viewing. Don't forget to marvel at the beauty of Epupa Falls.

Day 14: Etosha National Park - West (1 night)
Leave Kaokoland and head to the western edge of Etosha National Park.

Day 19: Windhoek (Departure / End of Tour)
Enjoy an early wildlife activity and a leisurely breakfast before starting the short and comfortable drive to Windhoek on paved roads. Plan to visit the traditional craft markets at Okahandja for some local wood carvings. Make sure to consider your departure flight time and transfer to the airport, as your tour comes to an end.
